Musengavhadzimu Business Enterprise is still a company at an infant stage. During this growth phase the company has undertaken work for the following companies:

• Comprehensive Street Cleaning Services in JHB CBD

Musengavhadzimu Business Enterprise is currently contracted to clean and transport waste within part of the JHB CBD. The contract was awarded by PIKITUP Johannesburg.
The project involved the following:

• Cleaning of all type of waste

• Transporting the waste to Robinson Landfill Site

Inspectors from Selby Depot and PKITUP management inspect the area on a continuous basis for cleanness and the company always receive good ratings.

• Street Cleaning Services, Removal of illegal dumping and cleaning of sanitary lanes

The company had a contract to clean the sanitary lanes in Hillbrow, Berea, Newtown and other parts of the city centre. The contract was awarded by PIKITUP but monitored by the City of Johannesburg.
The project involved the following:

• Cleaning of all type of waste

• Transporting the waste to Robinson Landfill Site

Inspectors from the City of Johannesburg inspected the cleaning before and after the work were completed and signed off all the sites that were cleaned.

Counting of Informal Settlements

The company was also contracted by PIKITUP Johannesburg (Pty) Ltd to count the informal settlements around Johannesburg. The exercise was done as an audit function to verify the number of settlements that are being serviced by PIKITUP. The project provided Musenga with a lot of experience in terms of logistic arrangements and negotiating with political representatives of different areas.
The project involved the following:

• Designing the workflow to count the settlements

• Designing the format to collect the data and the sticker which remains for auditing

• Communicating with the political councillors in the area

• Counting

• Report writing

The results were verified by Auditors and signed off as credible.

Waste Bins Census
